As the week went on, I started to feel a lot better - I guess it was just the shock to my system being up so much when I was VERY lazy last week (but I did get a lot of rest! :) ) I am trying to sit down more when I'm not doing direct instruction, unfortunately I can't do it for very long because the kids take advantage of it and start acting out. But thankfully it is better and I'm not in PAIN like I was on Monday. Another friend of mine said that I could have been having Braxton-Hicks....isn't it a bit early for that? I don't know - since this is the first time I've experienced anything like this, I have not a clue what it would feel like! I guess I need to break out my "What to Expect...." book and start doing some catch-up reading!
Next week - Level 2 ultrasound w/ Duke Perinatal on Tuesday (if it doesn't snow) and 3D ultrasound on Thursday along with my next doctor's appointment, blood sugar test, RhoGam, and who knows what else!

I was thinking when you mentioned the pain that it might be Braxton-Hicks contractions. Supposedly you have them off and on all through the pregnancy. Some feel it more than others. Plus, remember your tendons are stretching (actually all your joints are stretching to get ready for having the baby.... isn't that wonderful????)because they have to accomodate a growing baby! Can't wait to hear the results of the appointments!
I think I have an idea of how you can keep you kids from acting out and taking advantage of the pregnant woman sitting down.....Just tell them that the baby is an ALIEN inside your stomach and that if they are bad, it will RIP its way right out of your stomach and kill them all!!!!
yahahahahahahah!!!!!!!!!
(What is WRONG with me?)
Laura's been sampling the psych meds again at work.... I think it's time she took her trip to Disney World, don't you?????
The problem with that little scenario, Laura, is that my wonderful kids would think THAT'S REALLLLLLY COOL and would push the envelope that much more to see the little alien come out of my stomach. Disney World is in how many more days?? ;)
It's a world of laughter, a world of tears....
It's a world of hope and a world of fears....
There's so much that we share that it's time we're aware it's a...............
Oh no.... she's SINGING again!! (oops! This is supposed to be a PREGNANCY BLOG... leave it to us to get side tracked!)
I thought you would be breaking out into "Listen to the LAAAAAAANNNNNNNNNNNNNNNDDDDDDDD..."
