"The Big Kick"
Ok, so it was more like a "subtle kick", but it was still a kick, nonetheless! New Year's Eve - at about 6:00, I was reading a Nicholas Sparks book on the couch ("Dear John".....WAAAAAHHHH) and the little guy decided to let me know that he was awake. I felt the same thing last night about the same time - it was still very small but it was enough for me to know exactly what he was doing. What a cool feeling!! HAPPY NEW YEAR, EVERYONE!

You will really start getting an idea of his "wake-sleep" schedule - that's interesting that both of them were right at about the same time. It would be nice if he would sleep when you sleep, though it likely won't work out that way. I've heard that sometimes when you are up and moving about, it kind of "lulls" the baby to sleep, and when you are not moving (and/or trying to sleep!), is sometimes when he will suddenly "come alive!!!"
I'm having to catch up on the last few blogs.... lots of things happening! WAY COOL that you've gotten "kicked"!! This is only the beginning... just wait! Wow, your appts are so complicated now... I'm glad you're keeping them straight for us. I'm jealous of the 4D DVD....technology really has come a long way since I was pregnant with Shawn. On my ultrasound picture you can barely tell there is a baby in there...it was kinda like looking at a snowy television. I'm anxious to see what Laura got you, too!
