I have a few minutes here at school, so I thought I would do my update now. I do believe that this has probably been the longest week of my entire life - getting back into the swing of things after 2 weeks off is VERY difficult. Not a whole lot to write about for this week other than it's been an adjustment for my body to be on the go all day, and when I get home I have to have some time to just sit and put my feet up. I've noticed that my tummy is getting bigger/rounder and my belly button is getting smaller....it's almost like it's being gobbled up by my stomach! And when I go to bed it's getting more and more difficult to get comfortable. I think I need to invest in a body pillow or two. :)
Next Friday is the fetal heart ultrasound through Duke - it will be interesting to see his heart in detail. Although there were no signs of Down's Syndrome, other than the short femur bones, the doctors just want to make sure that his heart is developing appropriately and look for any other signs of Down's from the heart.
Oops - kids are coming in now - guess I had better get back to work! Till next time....

Hi!! I don't really have a comment or response to make, just blabbing on as usual!
I've been thinking about you a lot lately -- will look forward to hearing about your fetal ultrasound at sistahood next weekend!
Take it easy some & get some rest! (I know....easier said that done!) - But, let's face it, when are you going to have a better excuse than now? And it will be much easier to get some rest now than when after little Paul Daniel arrives!
Hey, not really related to anything, but....
I was thinking that since we will have two Paul's in the immediate family, we'll need a way to distinguish them when we're talking about them....like "big Paul" & "little Paul" or "my Paul" & "your Paul." Although I guess the context of the sentence should give us a hint....for example, for "Paul used the potty for the first time today!" it would probably be safe to assume that we are talking about Paul Daniel!
What do you think?
LOL!!!!! Well, for some reason, whenever we refer to Baby Belvan we have been saying "Paul Daniel" - for some reason those two names just kind of flow together. Or we may just decide to call him Daniel....I guess it just really depends on his personality when he makes his presence known!
We'll take your lead! (or maybe we'll just call him "Frank"!)
:-)
yeah... especially since "George" is taken!!! I agree, Becky, that the baby's personality will dictate what you call him...I know my friend Brenda had intended to call their son "TJ" they ended up calling him Taylor instead. So, we'll see how things develop! Can't wait to hear about the next scheduled ultrasound! Hoping everything goes well!! See you next weekend!!!!!!
