3 Month Pictures - 8/15

Above are some of the many pictures taken at our first visit to a professional photographer. I was very happy with the results, and Paul did very well, considering over 170 shots were taken of him!! I think at times he was overwhelmed with us in his face trying to get him to stay focused and smile....poor little guy!
Well, the craziness began this past week with workdays. Mondays and Wednesdays, Adam's mom kept him, Tuesdays and Thursdays he went to daycare, and Mom watches him on Fridays. I think it might have been a little hard on him having a different caretaker each day, but he did sleep very well at night! Because last week were workdays, I was able to leave school and either come home to nurse or pump. That won't be the case once the students start, so my plans are to lock the classroom door during my planning, turn off the lights and pump. We'll see how it all works out. And we'll see how it all works out with trying to balance my schoolwork and spending time with him. I hope that I'll be able to spend quality time with Paul and still manage to get it all done!
His 4 month appointment is August 31, and I'll be anxious to see how much he REALLY weighs. I'm not sure my method of weighing him on our scale is very accurate, because when I weighed him on Saturday, he had LOST 3/10 of a pound! And I know for a fact that he is NOT losing weight! He has started drooling and sucking his hand and lower lip quite a bit. As adorable as it is, I'm thinking it might be the start of teething. I read that the symptoms can start as early as 3 months, even though he might not start actually teething for another few months. So we'll see!

(I messed up the other comment... that's what I get for not choosing "preview"... let's try this again!) Love the pictures, they really turned out well. When Shawn was about 3 months he started drooling and after that the front of his shirt stayed wet. It figures, just when you think you've got a routine down, something comes along and changes it... like work! Be patient, you'll get it all worked out. Don't try to be "supermom". There has to be some give and take, but trust me, you'll get the quality time in there with Paul Daniel...just remember to focus on "quality" time" and not necessarily "quantity" of time.
