Well, we (actually, mostly Adam - the most I could do was hold the parts while he put them together) got the crib put together last night. It was relatively uncomplicated, until we noticed that the legs of the headboard were on the wrong ends...all of this after putting in the sides of the crib in. Which meant we had to go back to square one and restart the process over. So it took a little longer than we thought it would, but hey....IT'S DONE. As you can see, SOMEONE thinks that the bed was made for her.....:)
Michele and Kristen were supposed to come from Asheboro to see me on Saturday, but were unable to make it due to some unforeseeable circumstances. While I was sad not to see them this weekend, it also gave me the opportunity to get some things done for school (since I have this wonderful observation looming over my head). We've been running around the past few weekends, so it was nice to stay home.
Only 4 days of school this week!! Yaay!

The crib looks great! I see "someone" decided to make a dry run and test it out --make sure it's "just right" for Paul Daniel! If I remember correctly, it seems we had to put the crib together twice, as well, because we got something --the rails or the legs-- backwards. I have a feeling April is going to fly by (as if all the rest of the months haven't!). Laura called me yesterday and I wondered briefly if it was her saying you were on the way to the hospital! I DEFINITELY will have my phone charged and nearby so to be sure to get "THE CALL"!! Hopefully I'll see you Friday with a rocking chair!! Did my shower gift get to you okay?
The crib looks really good. Do you think there will be room for Paul Daniel? - ha! Know you are looking forward to Thurs. - the last day of school for a while.
The crib almost looks square-shaped instead of rectangular....or is that just the angle in which the picture was taken?
Either way, it looks nice --- I can almost picture Paul Daniel in it......oh right, he won't look like a cat, will he?!
Amen on the 4 days this week --- we're also off Friday (although Kai has an early release day -- snow make-up day) - and then for some odd reason I am working on Monday before taking off from Tuesday through the following Monday! We're leaving for Disney one week from today!!!!!! I CAN'T WAIT!!!!!!!
