Today's doctor appointment was quick and to the point. Blood pressure was a little higher than it had been, but they weren't too concerned about it. He didn't examine me internally, just measured my stomach and asked me how I felt.....still haven't dropped any. He estimates that Paul Daniel is now about 8 to 8 1/2 and so when I go in next Tuesday, they're going to do a growth ultrasound to get a more exact idea of his position and see where we need to go from there. If I'm dilated to 2-3 centimeters, they may talk about inducing me and possibly doing a C-section depending on size....or if I'm at 1 still they'll just wait and see what kind of progress I make. Today I made a trip out to Grantham to get some papers to grade and pretty much listened to my body the rest of the day....it told me to sleep. So I made myself comfortable on the couch and crashed for the most part until my doctor's appt.
Mom came yesterday for Nesting Adventures Part Two and we did more cleaning, organizing, etc. Adam put pictures up in the nursery and it's really beginning to look like a little bedroom for our new addition. Yaay!!

Wow... not long now! Laura must be swamped... I've never seen her this brief before! Sounds like things will be happening soon! Hope you have a good rest of the week and rest, rest, rest!!!

We're going out of town this weekend -- will be leaving tomorrow after work & returning Sunday. If "anything happens" between Friday & Sunday, just make sure you call me on my cell phone -- I'll have it with me all the time.
(We're going to Charlotte -- some of Paul's family, including Hayward & Esther, will be there all weekend to spend some time with our nephew Cameron before he soon deploys to Iraq.)
By the way, you need to change this title to "38 Weeks." (Do you really want to go back 10 weeks, or are you just getting nervous that it's almost time?) lol
oh, yeah! Thanks Laura for the heads up. I didn't even notice my title....and PLEASE, NO, don't take me back 10 weeks!!! On Facebook, when I was posting my shower pictures from Raleigh I made the mistake and titled it as WEDDING SHOWER 3/28/09! Rebecca kindly pointed out my typo. Let's just blame it on pregnancy hormones and leave it at that.
By the way, Mom, no - you didn't work me too hard on Tuesday. It was good for me to be up and out!
Well, I hope it wasn't due to pregnancy hormones, because I didn't catch it, either, and I can't get pregnant!!
I've been auditing charts at work lately -- maybe that's why I noticed it!!!
