"We're over halfway there....oohhhh...living on a prayer..." I feel like singing, since I've got two full whole weeks off!!!! Yaaay!!!! And for once both me AND Adam are not sick or ailing in any way, so I look forward to being able to enjoy the Holidays with friends and family and not worry about giving anyone anything! I've still got a lingering cough that wants to come out every once in a while, but nothing like I had a while back.
I've been feeling the baby when I lay down at night and I'm still. Haven't experienced the "big kick" yet, but I've definitely felt the flutters. Nights are becoming interesting - it's getting more difficult to get comfortable. I've been laying on my side, and then I usually wake up on my back and that gets sore because of all the pressure that's on my stomach. This week at school I've had to be up all day long, and by the end of the day my feet would ache. Yesterday I woke up with MAJOR CRAMPS in both my feet/ankles - I could barely move and I felt so helpless laying there. I thought they would never go away! Nothing I did would help, and as soon as one foot was feeling ok, the other one would start acting up. Guess I need to start eating a lot of bananas (a teacher at school said that the potassium will help). I think it's also a sign that I need to do a little more exercising, so maybe I can get on the treadmill or get to Curves while I'm out.
We have our next ultrasound on Christmas Eve to check on the progress of Paul Daniel and his development. Prayers would be appreciated!

You definitely have my prayers....though I must say (and I'm sure you know this), that it's unfortunately going to get worse before it gets better. You are right that some exercise (though nothing too strenuous) might help.
Looking forward to seeing you Christmas!!
I cant wait to see the baby!
If you dont know this is Kai
typing this.
And, this is Mom - Definitely have my prayers on a good visit and ultra-sound. I think you know those "flutters" will soon become more like kicks.
Prayers are a given! Wish I could go with you guys again for the appt, but we will be heading to Beulaville then. One thing you DON'T want to do while you're pregnant, is stretch... I did that and it gave me a bout of cramps, for whatever reason. Stretching exercises and some low-impact aerobics (like doing the Charleston) would be good. I took a prenatal exercise class our OB office offered and that's what we did and it helped. Also, besides eating some bananas, make sure you're drinking LOTS of water. Dehydration can set off cramps as well. It won't be long now before your belly will become a little gymnastics arena! See you Christmas!!
