As a followup to my post today, I was standing in the hall waiting for the students to come back from electives, and one of the 7th grade teachers came up to me and made the comment that I was REAAAALLY showing today and patted my stomach. A couple of people have patted my stomach today - I guess that's the "thing to do" with pregnant people now. BTW, Mom, I was wearing the top that you got me last week. :D

I don't know why some people think that when they see a pregnant lady, it's no holds barred concerning touching her stomach & that the rules of "personal space" don't apply anymore! (Especially when it's people who aren't even very close to you!)
I don't know if many people did that with me....maybe they saw a "stay away from me!!" look in my eyes. ha ha
Don't worry Becky...I will always ask first before touching your tummy (but you better let me, especially when you can feel him moving around!)
I didn't have many people-- strangers-- touching my stomach that I know of (after all, it's been 20 years!!) but you're around a bunch of friends, etc. so that may be why you're getting "feeled up" LOL. Just wait and see your students reactions when they see your stomach do the "alien thing" when the baby starts moving and dancing and kickboxing in there!
