With all this energy he is exerting moving around, he is ready for naptime and bedtime when the time rolls around. Now that I'm able to be with him, I'm trying to keep him on a consistent schedule with a naptime either right before lunch time or right after (depends on how long he's slept in). We take a bath just about every night now - he loves that time in the water splashing and playing with the bubbles (eating them, I should say) and I think it relaxes him some. We play, read "Goodnight Moon" and he's *usually* ready to go to sleep. I've been rocking him to get him drowsy, and he usually goes right to sleep when I put him down - if he doesn't, I let him cry it out. If he doesn't settle down I sometimes take him to the rocking recliner and get him to sleep that way. I can only hold him for so long because he has gotten to be VERY HEAVY...especially when he's asleep and is dead weight!
So much to look forward to in the several weeks of summer - trips to the beach, visiting with friends in the Asheboro area, swimming lessons with Paul at the Y, July 4 festivities this weekend....did I mention how WONDERFUL it is to be out of school????!!!

I SO can't wait until I get to see Paul (oh, and you and Adam)on Monday! He is changing so much! I love the picture and I've put it on my desktop at work. I get to have Paul smiling at me all day long! :-)
