10 Months - Getting ready for March Madness!

I can hardly believe that it's March - February just flew by! It's been an eventful month - we've had snow days, visits from Angela and Andrew (Adam's sis and bro), a couple of ear infections (boooo!!!)......Paul is growing and changing everyday, it seems! He is definitely more mobile - he can not crawl, but he can get up on his hands and knees and rock back and forth (he's been doing that for about a week now). He can move sideways and backwards...just hasn't gotten that forward motion going yet. And boy, does he LOOOOVE his bouncy seat....he jumps up high over and over and just laughs and giggles along the way. He has cut 4 teeth (two on top and two on the bottom) all the way through and is in the process of cutting two more on the top.
I am taking him to an ENT doctor on Thursday - my pediatrician wanted us to see what the doctors there say about putting tubes in his ears. I'm open to listen to what they have to say - he just seems so young to go through something like that, but again....I don't know a whole lot about it other than what others say about it. And it's been positive feedback - and I just want to do the right thing and make sure that he doesn't suffer any delays in his speech or hearing. I haven't noticed any issues with him not being able to hear, thank goodness. So like I said...we'll see what they have to say.
The weather is starting to warm up - FINALLY! Paul LOVES being outside, although he probably doesn't remember how much. I am looking forward to taking walks with him and getting some exercise myself.
Some favorites:
Food - anything - especially bananas (real ones - not the baby jar kind, although he loves that too!) Because he's teething, the Baby Mumm-Mumms are something that he likes to bite and chew on his own...he can really tear into one of them (rice husks)
Songs - Right now, he loves Eensy Weensy Spider, esp. when you do the motions...."This Little Piggie" is becoming a favorite....
Likes to grab for the remote control (definitely a male!)
Saying - "da da da" and "goo goo goo" and aaaAAAAaaaa (think David Lee Roth)
Johnny Jumper - would jump in that thing for hours if we kept him in there
Videos - Baby Genius - especially the one with nursery rhymes. Especially loves "Bingo"

He's growing so fast! I can't wait to see him this Friday. This is where all the fun begins... when he can respond and interact with you. He is SUCH a cutie!!!!! Shawn was really a lot of fun beginning at this age. Remember his "piano playing"?? You'll have to see if Paul takes it up as well! :-)
