9 Months in 2 days!

Wow - how time flies when you're busy! And how he is growing! He is able to sit up for the most part unassisted....still a little wobbly, and is rolling around like crazy when you set him on the bed to change his clothes. That's always a fun undertaking!!

He now has a top tooth peeking through - the top right one, and the left is on the surface about ready to show itself. Adam thinks that his back teeth might be coming in soon...so we have a droolin' guy in our midst. We took him to the doctor last Sunday (well, ok, ADAM took him....I was praying to the porcelain god at the time....more on that later) because he had a slight fever, was tugging at his ear a little bit and had some diarrhea. I was afraid that it might be an ear infection, and thank goodness I listened to my instinct because that's exactly what he had. The doctor said we took him to the doctor at the right time because it was on the verge of becoming full-blown. So we got him on antibiotics right away, and I think that saved him from getting the bug that has attacked anyone who has graced our doorstep in the last week! He has been in a great mood, considering all the little guy has had to endure!

Above is a picture of a milestone of sorts - this is Paul's first time in one of the restaurant booster seats! I had to at times have my arm around him or have a coat behind him to support him, but I think now he would be able to sit in the seat without any problems. He was definitely having fun grabbing at anything and everything in front of him!

This weekend should be interesting - they're calling for snow and/or ice....it would be nice to have some snow and take Paul out in it to experience it for the first time - I may just have to bundle him in a thousand layers! It would, after all, be his first snow! :) If we do have inclement weather, it may stick around for awhile because it's supposed to STAY cold. We have our 9 month checkup on Monday, and I may have to reschedule! If I'm able to make it, I'll post how that went.

I am so ready for warmer weather - I am so ready to get Paul outside and walk him around the block. I can tell he really misses the fresh air! (I do too!)

Okay, here's my token comment... lol!! Becky, you need to get on Laura about being slack and not commenting! I heard about the plague that you instilled on everybody you came in contact with last week! Thank goodness we didn't have a Sistahood that weekend (and, that I live, like 100 miles away from you!)-- Hope everyone is finally on the road to recovery! Paul is just growing by leaps and bounds-- I'm sure he's changed so much since even the last sistahood- it's hard to believe it's already been a month! Hope his 9-month checkup went well!
