12 weeks/10 weeks

Welll......what can I say. This week I'm feeling a little "crampy", grumpy, and tired. (two of them are the new dwarfs, btw) I did make it to Curves on Saturday, and I took it easy while I was there. But I did enough to get my heart rate up, and it felt good. Other than that, all I did this past weekend was nap, watch TV, read, and didn't even open a schoolbook or grade one single paper. I'm ready for my energy level to get back to normal because I'm tired of being tired all the time. I go to bed tired, I wake up tired - and it doesn't matter how much sleep I've gotten - I could stay in bed and sleep all day long!!! It's all I can do at the end of the day to be CONSCIOUS for any meetings we have, which unfortunately has been the case every single day this week. It doesn't help that I have about 90 rock cycle stories to read AND grade....and they are taking F O R E V E R!!!!!! They're actually pretty entertaining (some downright funny) but dang, it's taking so long! I just finished a third of them tonight. Yaaay!!! Just looked at the clock...I guess that's my cue to call it a night. Till next time.....

Here's something I found that helped boost my energy level at the end of the day early on, and actually helped even later on, when I felt like the walking dead.... eat some red meat. It boosts your protein and iron level. After I ate a steak at Golden Corral I felt like a new person and that I could tackle the world. It was AMAZING. I was taking iron supplements and that didn't do anything for my energy level, but when that red meat hit my system... boy oh boy. It was fantastic!

Spending Sunday afternoon at Kai's Chuck E. Cheese birthday party should do "wonders" for your fatigue level........
Seriously, though, just hang in there.....my (rather short....well, nine months!) experience in pregnancy was that if you don't like how you're feeling, stay tuned....it will likely change to the opposite before you know it!

Here's another try on the comments. I had to become a blogger with a password to post, since I hadn't done it before. Anyway, the only solution to being tired that I found was "time." Getting through the first trimester helped - and then the next trimester - and finally the last trimester. Not much help I know. Mom

Isn't this cool? We can harrass each other online now for the whole world to see!!

(Hi Mom! Glad to see you here.)

Beth, I TRIED to get Adam to take me out for steak, but then I looked at our bank account. We ended up going to Bojangles instead. LOL

My energy level is up a little bit today....maybe because the kids are gone and it's time for me to LEAVE!! :) :)

Glad new mama Becky is bouncing along very well, 'cept for flagging out more easily. That's just the baby getting you into a pace-yourself mode for the next few months.
Think Hunter is a great name, boy OR girl...am pulling for the latter!
